Matt Schmader, the head of the City Open Space Division, will be leading two walks in the area proposed for Bosque projects, between Central Ave. and Montaño on the east side of the river.  Matt will explain some possible ways in which the area might be developed and will solicit input from you on your thoughts about the development that should happen in this area.

The walks will be held as follows:

Date:              Saturday, January 17, 2015
Time:              9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Where:           This walk will cover the area between Central Ave. and I-40.  Meet at the parking area north of Central, east side of the river.

Date:              Saturday, January 24, 2015
Time:              9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Where:           This walk will cover the stretch between I-40 and Montaño.  Meet at the parking area at the end of Gabeldon Pl. which is the street just north of and parallel to I-40.  From Rio Grande, turn west on Floral, go left on Duranes for a short distance, then left (south) on Gabeldon Dr., the right (west) on Gabeldon Place.
