Colston Chandler and Bill Pentler (Open Space Education Coordinator) will lead a hike to explore a current silvery minnow project on the east side of the river just south of Paseo del Norte. What are the reasons for this project and why at this site? What are the important features of the project? What is the area supposed to look like in a few years? Please join us!
 

When: 8:00-10:30 am

Where: Meet at the Shining River parking lot on the west side of Rio Grande Blvd. just south of the bridge over Paseo del Norte.

Bring: Good walking shoes, water, hat, sunscreen, binoculars if you want to bird, walking stick if you wish. Long sleeves recommended to protect from scratches and in the unlikely event of bugs.
