We'll meet at the Kit Carson Park Playground (1509 Kit Carson Ave SW, Albuquerque) and then walk into the Bosque together.
Bruce Christman will lead us on an outing to learn about amphibians and reptiles of the Bosque. Bruce is a herpetologist focused on conservation of amphibians and reptiles. He has worked in 5 western states for at least as many state or federal agencies either as an employee or as a contractor. He is currently involved in the conservation and recovery of the Chiricahua leopard frog and narrow-headed garter snake, both of which are found in the Gila.
The Bosquitos are the youth-centered group of the Bosque Action Team. Our mission is to learn about Albuquerque's Bosque, the animals and plants that live there, and ways to take care of the Bosque as a precious natural space.
