Bosquitos: birding in the bosque

  • Sprouts Market parking lot 10701 Corrales Road Albuquerque, NM, 87114 United States (map)

We are going bird-watching in Corrales Sunday March 5 at 10 am and you, your family, and friends are invited!

Your guide to the Corrales Bosque Preserve will be John Egbert, former New Mexico Nature Conservancy director and field ornithologist. John is a naturalist and encourages children to discover birds or other lifeforms and how they relate to each other.  Enjoy the stunning views of the Sandias, too.

Bring water, and binoculars if you have them. Curiosity and imagination required for this fun morning trip.

We will meet at the entrance area of Sprouts at the corner of Coors and Corrales Road. From the east side, take Alameda west across Rio Grande to Corrales/Coors intersection. There is very limited parking at the site we will be traveling to in the Corrales Bosque so we are hoping to carpool to the site from Sprouts. We will leave by 10:15 am.

If you get lost you can call Sarita Streng at 505-288-8713 or follow this link.
